Description
This train station is one of several similar train stations in the area built in 1906 to serve the Oregon Short Line railroad. The OSL later merged with Union Pacific railroad. The station closed with the loss of Amtrak service in 1997 and is now an events center. However, there is a movement to restore the Amtrak Pioneer Route which would again serve this station. This view shows the exterior with an old hand baggage cart with steel wheels.
